Malina is our keeper from Enya's 2022 litter, sired by Southwind Chinook's Blue. Malina is beautiful, inside and out, who loves to cuddle, play with her family and retrieve sticks from the pond. She is tall, with exceptional bone structure for a modern female Chinook, and weighs in at a slim and fit 78 lbs. She is a very athletic girl, and can play and run on the farm all day. Malina is very gregarious and very much an extrovert. She loves people of any size and age, dogs and cats.
Malina has been successful in the showring too. At 7 months of age she earned her UKC Champion Title and at 1 year old, she became a UKC Grand Champion! She was number 2 on the Chinook Top-10 list in 2022 (behind Kiana) and was number 1 in the Top 10 for 2023. Malina also scored Reserve Best in Show at a UKC show in Florida in 2023.
Malina has a clean Embark genetic panel, good hips and eyes (OFA); and is genuinely very healthy with an excellent appetite!!!
Malina was successfully bred to Mosley via shipped semen and TCI and we are very excited about this pending litter that is due at the end of April/May 1st!
Please email mystiquepondchinooks@gmail.com if you are interested in a puppy from this litter. We are expecting a very nice set of pups from this breeding and will be looking for some breeding/show homes for the picks of the litter.
Mosley was born in February of 2021 and is owned by Arlene O'Donnell. Mosley is a giant goof-ball (110 lbs) and lives with his dad Moose, and the O'Donnell's in Northern Montana. He is a very healthy boy with a clean genetic panel (Embark) and his hips and eyes are good. Mosley is not a show dog but he has lovely conformation and is a beautiful example of a Chinook overall!
Here is how his mom describes him:
"He is a big, handsome lover boy! He thinks that he is a 15 lb lap dog and does not realize his strengh & size. He loves to swim & fetch stick in the river or lakes and loves to chase a ball and tackle his dad in the backyard. He is strong and would be a great puller or scent dog with training. He can smell my husband eating beef jerky a mile away. He is comfortable with small children and elderly people. We are only cautious with him around our baby grand daughter & elderly parents because of his size. He easily forgives. If he gets scolded or in trouble, it does not phase him for long and he doesn't pout. He does not seem to have any food or seasonal allergies.
